Manhattan School of Music seeks an Associate Vice President of Philanthropy/Director of Development to oversee the day-to-day management of the Office of Philanthropy, including planning, managing, and executing individual, institutional, annual, planned, and parent and alumni giving as well as high-profile special events, donor stewardship, and database management. The Associate Vice President of Philanthropy/Director of Development will be a highly organized advancement professional with a proven history of meeting fundraising goals. The Associate Vice President will possess the superior people management and communication and writing skills needed to secure support from new funders, broaden and deepen relationships with current funders, and motivate a high performing team.
