Vice President for University Advancement

The George Washington University seeks a Vice President for University Advancement to develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy and program capable of meeting the university’s philanthropic objectives. The Vice President will support the university’s fulfillment of its mission and preserve its standing as a leader in higher education and research by building, sustaining, and inspiring a world-class, university-wide advancement program. The Vice President will be a superb relationship builder, with strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness, a commitment to deepening the engagement of the university’s many and varied internal and external constituents, and excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate matters of complexity and nuance to multiple groups of stakeholders.
The George Washington University (GW) is home to more than 26,000 undergraduate and graduate students that come from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
