The New Jersey Performing Arts Center seeks a Director, Major Gifts to advance the philanthropic mission of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) by developing and executing a dynamic multi-year fundraising strategy focused on major individual gifts of $25,000 and above. The Director will lead the efforts to secure and nurture significant contributions that support NJPAC’s annual fund, programming, campaigns, and community development initiatives. The Director will oversee a best-in-class engagement and stewardship program, ensuring that NJPAC’s major donors are cultivated, retained, and upgraded through personalized, impactful experiences. By leveraging NJPAC's artistic excellence, leadership, and strategic priorities, the Director will drive philanthropic partnerships, increase year-over-year revenue, and build lasting relationships with key donors, thought leaders, and community stakeholders. Additionally, the Director will manage a portfolio of 50 to 75 major individual donors and philanthropic advisors, strategically positioning NJPAC as a leader in the arts and culture philanthropy sector. Working closely with the President and CEO, the Vice President, Development, and other senior leaders across the organization, the Director will help shape the future of NJPAC’s fundraising initiatives and contribute to the institution’s ongoing success and impact.
