Vice President for Institutional Advancement

The University of West Alabama seeks a Vice President for Institutional Advancement to be responsible for leading and managing the University’s comprehensive philanthropy efforts, including fundraising, donor relations, alumni engagement, the UWA Foundation and strategic philanthropy partnerships. This position will work collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to enhance philanthropic support and advance the institution’s mission. This position will also serve as the Executive Director to the UWA Foundation and manage the partnership with the UWA Foundation in its role as a Direct Support Organization (DSO) to The University of West Alabama. In the role of Executive Director to the UWA Foundation, the position will also serve as Executive Secretary to the UWA Foundation, as defined by the UWA Foundation bylaws.
