The University of Louisville seeks an Executive Director of Philanthropy, Schools and Colleges, who will recruit, train, and inspire the UofL Belknap campus philanthropy front-line staff, providing oversight, direction, and coaching based on best practices in major gift fundraising. The Belknap campus includes the Speed School of Engineering, College of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, Brandeis School of Law, School of Music, Kent School of Social Work, College of Education and Human Development, Division of Student Affairs, and University Libraries. The position includes planning and implementation of a philanthropic gift program with emphasis on major gift cultivation and solicitation, as well as directly managing an assigned portfolio of major gift donors/prospects. In addition to meeting fundraising goals and supervising a team of philanthropy professionals, the Executive Director is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal and external constituencies to meet annual goals and support the strategic priorities of the university.
