Associate Vice President for Development

Marist University seeks an Associate Vice President who will lead and advance Marist University’s fundraising efforts across a range of strategic initiatives. The AVP will direct the planning and execution of both short- and long-term fundraising strategies, including major, leadership and principal giving, planned giving, annual giving, and corporate and foundation giving. In partnership with the Vice President and frontline development staff, the AVP will set ambitious yet achievable goals, while developing and executing comprehensive strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of key prospects. The AVP will also manage a personal portfolio of leadership and principal gift prospects and secure significant philanthropic support for institutional fundraising priorities.
