Chief Development Officer

The Royal Conservatory of Music seeks a Chief Development Officer who will be a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy to advance The Royal Conservatory of Music’s mission and growth. This role will oversee all revenue-generating activities—including major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, planned giving, special events, and digital fundraising—and ensure excellence in donor engagement, stewardship, and compliance. The CDO will partner closely with the President & CEO, Board of Directors, Finance, Program Areas, and Marketing & Communications to align philanthropy with organizational priorities and secure sustainable revenue growth. The VP will also provide leadership to volunteer fundraising committees and maintain a personal portfolio of high-level donors.
