Director of Development, Major Gifts

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is seeking a Director of Development, Major Gifts who will be a key member of the Development team and is responsible for supporting Didi Hirsch’s individual and major gifts strategy. This individual will serve as the lead relationship manager to a portfolio of 50-80 donors, developing and implementing strategies to move these prospects towards established goals, making assignments to other staff and volunteers as appropriate, and ensuring timely follow-through. This role will also work in close partnership with the Senior Director of Development, to support leadership and to cultivate relationships in order to achieve fundraising goals.

Didi Hirsch provides compassionate mental health, substance use, and suicide prevention services to individuals and families, especially in communities where discrimination and injustice limit access. For the first month, the Director of Development, Major Gifts is expected to be in the office once per week. Afterward, they will be expected to be in the office once a month. The Director of Development is expected to attend occasional evening events and proactively initiate meetings with current and prospective donors.
