Cure Alzheimer’s Fund (CureAlz) is dedicated to funding research with the highest probability of preventing, slowing, or reversing Alzheimer’s disease. Frustrated with the slow pace of research about the disease, its founders applied their experience in venture capital and corporate startups to build an organization specifically designed to accelerate research, make bold bets, and eradicate the disease. The organization’s unwavering focus on finding a cure is made possible by its Board of Directors, Trustees, and Sustaining Partners who empower CureAlz operations and allow 100% of gifts to support their research program. Since its founding in 2004, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund has contributed more than $280,000,000 to Alzheimer’s research. Projects they have funded have led to important breakthroughs, deepened the understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, and brought the world one step closer to a cure.

"Our next VP, Philanthropy will be critical to our success. They will be a bold and collaborative leader, a proven relationship-oriented fundraiser, an empowering manager, a thought partner for the Philanthropy team and the organization broadly, and a champion for donor-centric engagement. They will be a trusted mentor who will continue our focus on earning trust and investing in building relationships. They will share our aspiration to never be transactional, and will represent and advocate for the donors whose philanthropic vision they are supporting. They will recognize the power of long-term strategy over short-term urgency." — Morgan Herman, Executive Vice President, Philanthropy
